Istanbul, Turkey, 2014
Six years ago, I was at a local bazaar in Istanbul when I saw the skyline of newer housing developments past the ledge of the hill where we stood. It reminded me of a little toy city, a stark contrast from the older, more historic buildings that lay closer to the Bosphorus.
